The infamous Dutch sleepnetwet (dragnet law) has passed the senate. It will allow the police and secret services to copy and inspect *all* data from anyone's internet connections. It will be implemented January 1st, 2018. Of course, building and testing has already been done so it can be deployed by the push of a button.
But what is actually written in the law? What can the police do exactly? How does it fit into broader political developments of today? And how can you protect yourself and your friends?
